Following the huge success of our inaugural BródBall tournament in 2024, LGBT+ Softball’s second BródBall LGBT+ Softball Tournament will take place on 5 and 6 June 2027 to kick off pride month in the Republic of Ireland. Bród is Irish for Pride!

BródBall 2027 will be bigger and better than before! The tournament will feature teams from across the globe and takes place on the grounds of Castleknock College in West Dublin with capacity for up to 16+ teams. BródBall 2027 is brought to you by LGBT+ Softball. LGBT+ Softball promotes LGBTQ+ participation in softball across the island and advises on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies to Softball Ireland and the regional governing bodies across the island of Ireland. The organisation established Ireland’s first LGBT+ softball team in Dublin, The Stoneballerz, in 2023.

BródBall is not just a softball tournament, it is a celebration of Ireland, of softball and of pride month! We will organise a series of social events across and around the tournament dates, beginning with our launch night celebrations on Friday 4 June.
